Seeing a counselor doesn’t mean you are “crazy” or weak. We all have times in our lives when we feel stuck and need help in getting ourselves or our family out of the patterns that aren’t working for us. I strive to provide a personal, comfortable experience for my clients where they can learn to utilize their own strengths to develop the life and relationships they want.
As human beings are incredibly complex and unique, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to counseling. I work with clients to gain an understanding of how they learn, experience life, and process emotions. We will work together to create a counseling environment and goals that work for you. If we discover that I am not the best fit for you, I will gladly help refer you to the right person or resource, so that you can get the services that will be most beneficial for you.
I work with children, teens, and adults through individual and family counseling. I treat a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, and addiction. I am especially interested in working with women confronting postpartum depression and anxiety and women struggling to find balance in their roles as mothers, wives, professionals, and individuals.
Other issues I can address include the following:
- Addiction or Substance Abuse
- Anxiety or Fear
- Family Conflict
- Loss or Grief
- Postpartum Depression
- Women’s Issues
And currently, I’m accepting the following insurance:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
If you have another plan, you may find that you have an out-of-network benefit that can help. I’m also happy to consider a sliding scale for out-of-pocket payments.
If you have questions, call or send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you!
